Emma graduates from Brown University, and 10 years go by…</p>
<p>Friend: “Hi Emma! Great to see you! Haven’t seen you since you left for college!”
Emma: “Yeah, great to see you too!”
Friend: “Oh, what school did you go to anyway?”
Emma: “Brown University :)”
Friend: “Ah, Ivy League! Very nice!”</p>

Emma graduates from Yale University, and 10 years go by…</p>
<p>Friend: “Hi Emma! Great to see you! Haven’t seen you since you left for college!”
Emma: “Yeah, great to see you too!”
Friend: “Oh, what school did you go to anyway?”
Emma: “Oh, uh… hmm. Yale”
Friend: “…oh. The same as George Bush. Well, hey, at least it’s a great school right?”</p>

<p>What is ironic is that barely anyone talks about her on the Brown forum.</p>
<p>I didn’t read all of these pages because im on my phone so sorry if I’m repeating anything but on perezhilon’s site (sad, I know) he said that she’s going to Columbia and she applied under Charolette E Watson because she didn’t want people to immediately associate her with HP. I didn’t even know she checked them out.</p>

<p>“Emma Charlotte Watson” showed up in the Brown directory, then disappeared. It makes me think she’s going there; why would they remove the name if it wasn’t her?</p>

<p>Maybe she changed her mind and withdrew. That would explain why her name disappeared.</p>
<p>^ Or, alternatively, she told Brown to take her name off the directory because she didn’t want people knowing she’s planning on going there until she officially releases it.</p>

<p>but her name is listed as going to the School of Continuing Education though. Why would she go there instead of the liberal arts undergrad college?</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure that E.Watson isn’t going to Columbia. It’s very easy to remove your name from the Brown Directory… seeing as how I attend Brown myself.</p>

<p>I don’t see why this thread wasn’t closed 8 pages ago. It’s probably more superfluous than the “good vs. bad ivies” thread which is saying something. There are twenty gazillion sources on the internet, each one stating something else about where “Emma Watson is headed to college”, she apparently was in the Brown Directory, she is in the Columbia directory at the moment, bla bla, fact is, nobody knows where she’s going until she’s gonna say it herself.</p>

<p>Congratulations to her! I think Columbia is a smart choice. If there is one place where people know how to discretely check out a celebrity it is NYC. She will be close to JFK and can fly home when she wants, she can test her wings on Broadway, etc. I hope it all works out well for her she seems to be a charming, modest young woman.</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure Brown and Columbia have better parties ;)</p>
<p>I think it’s because that’s where Serena van der Woodsen is going. This way, she and Emma can be bffs. :P</p>
