Will 10 units look bad???

I'm applying to Berkeley (from CCSF, almost done with major/igetc) , and the transfer counselor from UCB assured me that my GPA of 3.83 is more than good enough to get in as an English major (so long as I write a decent personal statement and keep my GPA up this semester). Well, I was taking 14 Units, and decided keeping my GPA would be too difficult with the Paleo class I was taking. I dropped it, and now I have 10 Units (3 classes), but I am looking at my 2nd consecutive 4.0 GPA.

Basically, what I want to know is: will it look 'bad' if I only have 10 Units this semester, even though I will be taking approximately 17 Units next semester? (makes more sense, being as I only need a B average in the Spring).

This is pretty much my only concern, being as I will wrap everything up next semester, and will take my Physical Science Lecture/Lab as a Pass or No Pass class. PLEEEEASE get back to me guys. Much appreciated!

I dont think it matters how many units you take as long per semester unless youre applying to USC. As long as you have 60 units at the end of spring it should be fine.

It doesn’t matter. The only college I’ve seen that really said anything about that was Stanford, that if you had a record of taking only 1 hard class per semester you probably couldn’t handle their ‘rigorous course load’. (Unless your parents donated a lot of money, then magically you could)

10 units is fine.
