Will it be too late?

<p>Hey, I am an international applicant and am applying for engineering. I look at Purdue as one of my safer colleges. I have applied to Texas A&M University as well and would definitely prefer it to Purdue due to some reasons. But, in case I don't get accepted by TAMU, I want to have another relatively safer college. However, due to my other applications, I'll be able to apply to Purdue only by February 1st. So would that become too late for me? These are some of my stats:</p>

<p>SAT 1 : CR 740, Math 760, Writing 700 - 2200 Total
SAT Subject Tests : Math level 2 800, Physics 750
TOEFL : 113(iBT)
Extracurriculars : Quite a few but nothing extraordinary
Recommendations : Pretty good
Essays : I believe I write fair.</p>

<p>So yeah, a reply would be of great help!</p>

<p>I don’t think it’s too late.
I checked the website and none of the fall 2011 majors are full yet for freshman.</p>

<p>I personally don’t see why you would have a problem getting in.</p>

<p>I got in for engineering with a 1580 in my sats 1… Apps are due on march so i believe ur definetely in…A good essay and thats all u need to get in…Even though my test scores sucked I believe it was my essay that made me get in…Dont worry, ur fine</p>
