I failed a year at a community college. The first semester was due to health issues causing me to miss the finals and the second was due to my mother kicking me out of the house mid-semester. I was very dumb and so did not contact the school about either of the issues. I have since done well at a different community college I later enrolled in. Am I required to include the transcript from my first college, and if so, will those grades be treated the same as if I failed the courses due to lack of preparation? Thanks in advance!
You need to send all of your transcripts.
How the place you apply to evaluates those grades is entirely up to them. But first you ought to come clean with your current CC. If you are planning to complete an associates degree there, you will need to give them the old bad transcript.
