<p>S received a phone call from his admissions counselor this evening. He’s in! Paperwork to follow overnight and financial aid info in a few days. Whew!</p>

<p>I heard that the ones contacted in the “second wave” had until today, June 1 to let ND know if they would accept. You may want to contact your admissions rep and ask if ND will go to the waitlist for more students.</p>
<p>yeah i did, a week or so ago. i guess i was just wondering when it was going to happen.</p>
<p>has anyone heard if ND will take any more students off the waitlist? We are so hopeful that our friend will be chosen still!</p>
<p>My regional admissions counselor told me today that they are still unsure if they will be admitting any more waiting list candidates and if they do, they are also unsure of how many spots will be available…Has anyone else heard anything? (Say a prayer for me if you don’t mind!)</p>

<p>Letters were mailed out today, closing down the admissions process for the Freshman class. I got a call from someone at the University today to inform us since my D was on the wait list.</p>
<p>Getty, does this mean they did not accept your D and I assume anyone remaining on the waitlist?</p>
<p>Yellav…My D was not admitted and is looking forward to Fordham University in NY. They did not say if others were being accepted…they said they were sending notices out to all that the admissions process is closed. Wish I had better news…best of luck to all.</p>
<p>My son received his thanks but no thanks letter today. Unsigned. I am an alunm and embarassed for these folks. He’s received similar letters from other competitive school’s, but this is the first that was unsigned. Disrespectful.</p>
<p>IrishJoe, if it’s any consolation our daughter is a double legacy whose parents consistently donated time and money to ND and ND ended up being the only school that she applied to that didn’t even waitlist her. She’s going to University of Virginia (as did her older sister, who did get into ND) and we’re cutting off our support.</p>
