Extracurriculars:
-Captain of varsity tennis team
-Leader of Madagascar Club
-In Investment club
-Student ambassador (assistant to dean of students)
-Student Interview committee for head of school search process
-Student government
-Worked as research assistant for neuroscience lab at duke
-work as veterinary assistant (hands on during surgery) during the school year
-was one of the 6 upperclassmen chosen for a leadership opportunity at the end of my junior year, and worked as a mentor to the freshman class for two weeks on their overnight service trip.

Courseload:
-highest possible math and science classes my school offers (and maintained a 99% average in those classes)
-took all the APs my school offers
-designed my own neuroscience independent study
-doubled in either math or science each year

About me:
-White/sephardic jew
-female
-live in NC
-plan on majoring in neuroscience

Strengths:

-pretty good common app essay

Weaknesses:
-out of state
-female
-took a risk with supplemental

Your downfall is would likely be the out of state, but bc ED accepts 50% of applicants as opposed to 30% ish in RD, it might be okay. Otherwise you seem totally qualified.

What was your supplemental about?
(And PSA, I am just a high school, student, although I believe I am correct about what I said above, I could be wrong.)

You look like a competitive candidate. Out of curiosity what was the risk you took in the supplemental? If you look up “To the Office of Admissions at William & Mary” on youtube there is a hilarious video that a kid submitted a couple years back that was definitely risky but he ended up getting in. You seem like a very interesting person (more important than whether or not you get accepted). Your schooling background is different. They like different. I think you are a strong candidate who shows a lot of initiative. You will do quite well wherever you attend. Good luck.
