@telephoneclz It’s probably going to be the big fat gold acceptance envelopes. the little white ones are usually rejection letters, waitlist or just requests from university to fulfil your application.
I think we just got all the acceptances and the rest of the decisions will be waitlist or rejection. This is how it was for freshman decisions for fall 2016, probably the same, hopefully not.

Guys, c’mon, this unofficial transcript crap isn’t the holy grail. Sure, it mostly clued everyone towards acceptance, but it’s not the real letter. Let’s all just calm down and wait for our mail to come
They literally just started mailing out decisions. Just because we haven’t recieved our decisions it doesnt automatically mean we are rejected. They have more than a thousand applicants applying and i could totally imagine that it’s not easy to go over so many applications. Based on my experience when I applied to universities a year ago and in highschool, i got rejection letters faster than getting acceptances. My point is that if they really didnt want us then they would have rejected us by now, but they haven’t. Plus, i personally spoke with an advisor and she told me as long as you show a lot of improvements and you really are determined to work hard, got lots of credits etc. you’re MOST LIKELY in. Seriously, like what @husky10139 said. The unofficial transcript isnt the official letter anyway, we’ll probably hear back by tomorow.

I’m also an In-State Community College transfer and my Unofficial Transcript on MyUW has NOT loaded. Let’s be patient and hope ours will load soon.
I’d assume that acceptances will be in the large gold envelopes and rejections will be in the white envelopes. However, if you said some freshman got their acceptances in white envelopes then… it’s difficult to know.
Not loading doesn’t mean rejection at all. It’s a good indicator of acceptance but not rejection. And like someone above said, they still have 3 weeks to mail out decisions. Just because like 4 people heard doesn’t mean all the decisions have come out.
I know the transcript thing shouldn’t be taken too seriously but i’m so bummed it doesn’t work for me because i’ve been an non matriculated student
That means no decision has been made yet! Don’t get too discouraged, there’s still plenty of time 
I finally got the congratulations message! I applied in with 74 credits, but clarified I’d be finishing with 90 after this quarter if that helps. I also put my intended major as communications. Seriously don’t lose hope though guys, you’ve been patiently waiting thus far, a few more days of waiting at max will only make this much more rewarding. Hoping the best for the rest of you!
So I was able to go trough a process and get my application after it already closed because I’m at WSU and there is a person who emails me and plans my murder and kidnapping and stuff and so it’s not safe for me to be there and so I submitted my app 6 days after it closed which was super nice of them to let me do that since I decided I needed to leave after it had already closed.
I can’t really afford to wait until December to know because I need a plan B if that doesn’t work out and I don’t think I’m going to get in honestly because I’m from a 4 year university and I have good grades but it’s not a 4.0 by any means and I’m Pre-Physicians assistant. At Wsu my major is Kinesiology and they don’t even have that at uw so I’d be changing majors.
I don’t feel like I’m going to get in honestly but I just really need to know. my account hasn’t updated with anything yet and I’m worried since my app was permitted to be late that I won’t find out till like mid-December

@abgestumpft I’ve been a non-matriculated student too. Yesterday the winter registration page on myUW changed to include my intended major and then this morning my highschool language and math levels popped up on my unofficial transcript. Not sure if its a good thing but there was definitely a change
@bri0717 I know it sucks to wait and a lot depends on the decision but you should have some back up plan in the works already so that just in case you don’t find out until December, you won’t be left hanging in the case it’s a rejection letter. That being said, I obviously hope it’s an acceptance and best of luck

It used to say uw bothell as college but now it says arts and sciences
