Wisconsin Madison v.s. UIUC

<p>Hey everyone!!!!!
As you can see... I am applying for undecided in college of letters & science/liberal arts & science.
Both schools have priority deadline and I'm only applying early for one of it. (Started too late)
Does anyone have any idea which school is better in social science major?</p>

<p>It would be perfect if someone from WI/IL can let me know about what they think about their school!!!

<p>There’s no such thing as a social science major at either Madison or Illinois. If you can afford both at list price, I would opt for Madison if only because of the location.</p>

<p>Wisconsin is better than UIUC in the Social Sciences. </p>

<p>In Anthropology, Economic, Political Science and Sociology, Wisconsin is better than UIUC. </p>

<p>In Psychology, UIUC and Wisconsin are roughly the same. </p>

<p>Also, Wisconsin is slightly cheaper than UIUC, and Madison is a nicer college town than Urbana Champaign.</p>

<p>If you are interested in the Social Sciences, I would recommend Wisconsin over UIUC.</p>
