<p>Brown has one of the best Division I womens rugby teams in the nation. We have been to the final 4 two years running and the sweet 16 the year before that. I play flanker. </p>
<p>There are no cuts and no try outs. Everyone plays. We run 2 sides – an A side, and a developmental B side. Everyone is welcome despite rugby or any athletic background. </p>
<p>We’re also a great family. Everyone is friends, everyone is supportive, everyone is bada**</p>
<p>Our coach is great, she’s tough but she knows her stuff, and the athletes we have will knock your socks off. We’re increasingly gettng more funding and recognition from the University while maintaining our autonomy as a club sport</p>
<p>If you’re serious about playing rugby (or not serious!), there’s no better place to go than Brown. It’s one of the reasons I came here. </p>

<p>Also about 5% of people on our team played in highschool, and they are mostly internationals. I’m one of the few lucky stateside kids who played in hs. So in other words, don’t let that be a hindrance whatsoever.</p>
<p>I can’t really contribute much, but I can say that the few girls that I’ve met from the team are the most bad*ss/coolest.</p>
