OH yeah, how could I forgot about the horrible Things Fall Apart! That book was awful…

Heart of Darkness and Frankenstein are two more that I hated

^How could you hate Frankenstein???

I hated The Jungle and Of Mice and Men.

How can anyone hate Huck Finn?!

A tale of a boy and his older friend on the run in the backwaters of the Mississippi! Its a classic tale of friendship and coming of age!

New list:

Of Mice and Men
Who Moved My Cheese?
Anthem
The Things They Carried
The Kite Runner
Stone Fox (elementary school)

Lord of the Flies
Twelfth Night
Huck Finn
To Kill A Mockingbird…

All of the above are very much out of my element…

House on Mango Street was by far the worst thing I’ve had to read.

Running with Scissors.

The Bluest Eye

^ OH MY GOSH.
I read the Bluest Eye on my own and loved it!

Worst was a Separate Peace. :/

The House on Mango Street.

Yeah, A Separate Peace was pretty suckish :(

I happened to like A Separate Peace… but I’m usually the only one in my class who ends up liking the assigned books for English. Take from that what you will.

I hated Jane eyre; so meldramatic and long segments with literally nothing happening

-scarlet letter was pretty boring… Actually extremely boring

-even though I only read a segment of moby dick, it was practically unbearable for me

@Mascara I just hated the book and saw no literary-merit in it whatsoever. It was assigned at the very end of the year, so there was almost no possible way for me to enjoy it anyway.

Books I’ve Read through School and Hated:
The Long Walk (I just didnt like it… it wasnt bad, but it was just really strange to me)
Romeo and Juliet (yeah… I didnt even read it all…)
The Pearl…

Books I enjoyed:
Maniac Magee
Red Scarf Girl
The Cage
Frankenstein
Life of Pi…

(+) for good
(-) for bad
(/) for indifferent
Books I read:
Of Mice and Men +
The Odyssey +
To Kill Mockingbird +
Fahrenheit 451 +
Romeo and Juliet /
Hiroshima +

Angle of Repose -

My Name is Asher Lev /
Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close -

The Things They Carried +

Worst 3 (1 being the wors):

A Tale of Two Cities

Jane Eyre

Definitely Frankenstein, Ive liked all the books my teachers assign us to read but it was just something about it that turned me off, maybe its just me.

I hated the Scarlet Letter and Brave New World.

^ gasps Not Brave New World!
“A gramme is better than a damn!”
