Hi guys, I scored a 2320 on the march SAT (780 cr, 740 m, 800 w) and was wondering if it would be worth a retake. This was my second time taking it, and I have a 2340 superstore (800 cr). Also, would it be worth my time to take the act? I'm pretty confident that I could score a 35 or 36 on math... I have four 750+ subject tests, including 800 world history and us history.

since math is your weakest subject, I would retake it, it’s the easiest to improve on and i’m guessing the only reason you got that 740 was because of careless mistakes

Yes, I missed a couple questions just from carelessness, but I don’t know if it will be any different the next time around. Also, I’ve already taken it twice, so do colleges look at taking three SAT’s in a different light than they would if, say, I just stuck with two and was done with it? I mean, even if I score a 2400 on the next one, that’s still not very much improvement…

don’t take it. ur score is already ridiculously good. and yes, colleges might see u as a bit obsessive if u take a third sat after already having a 2300+. if you are worried about ur math score, take the math 2 subject test.

as for the act, it might be worthwhile to take one just to see how u would do. maybe u can get a 35 or 36 which would be awesome but u don’t have to worry to much since u have really good sat scores. seriously, people dream of ur scores.

Do not retake the test. Wherever you are applying, your scores will not keep you out, only other factors of your application.

Ok, thanks for the input! I probably won’t retake, just focus on my apps now
