It’s been about a year and a half since I was kicked out of school for a low GPA and now I’m finally going back to school.
To start things fresh. I’m going to a Community College and I just had a transfer question.
Would I be able to transfer out of Community College if I do really well? I want to at least stay there for a year and transfer to a better school. Some colleges I’m looking at are Fordham and other NYC based colleges.
you should stay 2 years, in order to prove to colleges that you are not the same student who was once kicked out of
the other college. But you also need to know that you must mention all colleges you have attended to any college you apply to. There is a clearinghouse that ALL colleges use to check if a student has been previously enrolled anywhere. So there is no completely fresh start. But 2 years of good grades will show colleges you have grown up .
Falsify your transfer applications and its instant ejection.
Thanks for that suggestion. I will be sure to mention it when I do transfer. Another person in the transfer forum said that it’s better to stay for 2 years. So I will probably do that and transfer to another 4 year college. I still have to look into the 1 year transfers. Thank you once again.
