Im in the same situation as you. I'm taking 7 APs senior year as well. I say go for it.

But a part of me is not happy as I feel I may seem like a crazy machine instead of a kid and colleges would say: "Look at this crazy girl with so many APs and so many SAT2s! Machine, machine, machine!"

7 APs is perfectly fine, so long as you spread out the subject range. Having 3/7 of your AP classes history based (art history, government, european history) is not recommended for obvious reasons. But often times classes like Calculus, Economics, Physics takes relatively less studying because they are concept-based.

I think 7 APs is certainly manageable, but you're going to need to sacrifice a lot to do it. I'm taking 6 this year and I have really time-exhausting ECs (it got up to like 30 hours a week at one point, it was ridiculous), and I'm struggling to juggle everything. The classes themselves aren't too hard though.

I wouldn't do it but if you think you're organized and prepared to handle it, go ahead. It also depends on the school, at my school taking 7 APs would be suicide because they really are intense courses and require more time than you could give to 7 different subjects at the same time (nevermind the fact that it's not possible...lol).

I'm taking 7 APs this year as a senior - it was very hectic when I still had college applications to finish, but now it's going a lot better. I'd say to go for it.

7 AP's is very possible, as long as they aren't all impossible. Many people at my school are doing it (or all AP's and IB's, myself included). But it does require a lot of effort.

I was taking 6 this year, but it was wayyy too much. I also had extracurriculars. Eventually I had to drop one of them and I feel so much better/happy.

Don't. You're going to lose the will to live by October. Plus, if next year is senior year for you, you're not going to want to deal with the work load second semester. It happens to all of us... unless you want to become a studying and homework robot, I wouldn't. I'm afraid happiness and lucidity would fail to exist for you - plus, I really don't think college is going to be impressed by the sheer number...
