-2 years MUN
- 2 years model us senate
both my parents also went to tufts, but i hope not to use that to my advantage

thanks for your help....also, if anyone goes to tufts could you maybe tell me if it is easy to cross register at classes at the museum school, and what tufts is like for internation students...

I usually never respond to these stats questions but since you listed MUN I just had to.

I have no idea how the college admissions process really works. Obviously you have to have certain impressive stats like grades, test scores, various e.c.s, etc. but all in all I think the acs are looking for something in particular, and this something can't be calculated by using a convinient formula or using logical thinking.

Someone once told me that everyone gets into the school that they're meant to go to (provided they have all of the stats so that the decision just comes down to the vibe you give off and whether you're a good match) and that really they're just trying to figure out where you'd be happiest.

But yeah, all rambling aside I'd say you're in.

Hey, I agree with charcoalorchid about everyone getting into the school they are meant to go to. I also know very little about the admissions process outside my personal experience, but I think you sound like a good candidate for Tufts. Just a question - what Track events do you do?

i do mostly long distance, 800, ,1500, 3000 (all meters) but i dont think my times would be at ALL good enough to do in college... but i might swim in college

hey, you'd be surprised at the times D3 runners run. Not that they are bad, just not as competetive as you would think. For example, I'm visiting my sister at Wesleyan right now and I was just down in the field house looking at the track times and there are girls on my high school track team whose times in the 1600 could beat the Wes men's 1500 times. Seriously - just look into it :)
