<p>I've heard from parents, teachers, and the deans, that our school is one of the top in the state, and in the nation. I really have nothing to compare it though, so do you think that my school is actually as good as they say it is?</p>

<p>Yes, this is competitive. Your mean SAT score exceeds 2000… a sure-fire indicator of a strong high school.</p>
<p>Your school’s pass rates on the APs is pretty impressive, though. It woudl say it’s pretty good. Don’t count on it to get you into a good college, though. Nothing can make up for hard work.</p>
<p>I’m definitely not relying on my schools competitiveness to get my into a good school, necessarily. I was more focused on whether other people thought that the school was as good as my teachers and parents make it out to be. Thanks for the input.</p>
<p>I’m reading mean SAT is in the 1800s, well above average but not a most competitive high school. Only two NMS semi finalsts, top schools would have a third to a half of the class here. So clearly well above average but not top tier.</p>
