I applied EA, and should I be writing thank you notes for recommendations now, or when I get my decisions in December or April? And whats a universal gift you can make by yourself to thank them?

Definitely now. You want to show your appreciation for their efforts, regardless of your college admissions. Besides, if you got rejected, would you not send them a thank you note despite their time and help?

I’d think a thank you card would be good, given that it is sincere.

haha i’ve had the same thoughts as you. i wanted to give the teachers the cards after i find out where i got in, but yeah if i didn’t get in, i’d probably be too bummed out to write a letter. i was thinking of attaching a photocopied copy of my acceptance letter to the card lol. anyway, i think i’ll be giving out the cards early.
