Hi again.

So does anyone know why some students have to take the writing placement test?

Is it because I did so bad on the SATs (lol... that's what I'm assuming)? But then again, I did really good on the wriitng portion of the ACTs... hmm... anyone know?

Oh, yeah… I just googled it…

Totally because I bombed the SATs. But I thought I got above a 620… (I got a 63). lol. I did get a 12 on the ACT essay though. Hmm… oh well. =)

So now you know… if you were wondering. lol.

What I can tell you is that the Dartmouth Writing department doesn’t exempt students from Writing 5 if you take the ACT. I did reasonably well on the ACT reading and english sections… well enough on the reading so that if it was translated into the SAT score, I would have been exempted… but I was told by the Writing department that they don’t exempt with the ACT.

I didn’t take the SAT.
