I’m happy my school is sort of a feeder school into WashU. Like 40% of applicants are accepted. Although last year, only one student chose to attend.

@Ctesiphon what was avg gpa and scores

WashU probably doesn’t have a certain number of seats that they’d like to fill ED. They probably just choose whomever they think will thrive at WashU, regardless of what the ED acceptance rate will turn out to be. :)

I applied ED to Arts and Sciences! The wait is killing me!! Hope everyone here gets in!
Also, was your ED agreement only done on the common app? All I remember doing is inviting my dad to sign the common app ED agreement and signing my name electronically. Apparently some person I know has printed his out and mailed it to Washu. I’m so confused.

@thevagabondson as long as you’ve done what you did on the common app you’re okay

@Ctesiphon same for my school… We have a 52% acceptance rate for ED… Hoping for the best!!! Honestly it depends moreso how you compare at your school versus the whole country, because every schools curriculum is different.

Did you guys submit your sat subject test scores as well, even if you did better on the ACT?

Yes! I submitted 3 subject tests and ACT.

Just act.

I decided to submit the subject tests because I want to study CS with neuroscience or applied math (just discovered my deep love for math… it’s amazing), and my math subject test was very strong!

The hardest part of college applications is the waiting period. I cannot take it.

I have a feeling the decision will come out on Monday

Why don’t we just ask them? I feel like they might tell us?

I’m freaking out!

@sallymeno11 , why not this Friday?

SAME!!! Well I am doing Philosophy, Psychology, Neuroscience but focusing on neuro

Same! What would your focus be on? Mine is on Neuroscience

The admissions counselor told me that if you don’t get into your first choice school you rarely ever get admitted into your 2nd choice, but being female engineering will give you an advantage

@amd1997 me too! PNP with a focus on neuroscience, hopefully double majoring with the school of arts in photography!

@nyorker98 that’s great. If we both get in I’m sure I’ll see you around.
