Yale Admissions Today??

has anyone heard anything today???

i'm otuside of philly and thought that since people in nyc got their decisions yesterday, i would find out today, but nothing is happening..

anyone knows what's going on??

i had my mom check the mail at my house outside of boston: nada

got my mail today, but no yale decisions (NJ)

just got my rejection letter from yale (FL)

i should probably be getting my rejection today or so too...i live in FL as well.

it was postmarked may 8th (monday)...if that helps anyone out at all

I called the Admissions office and they that they will be sending out decisions today or tomorrow.

wheres Nagoya?

It's in Japan. I don't know if he's referring to international decisions, or if they're mailing them in batches.

Yup.
She said that some have not been sent out yet (they are sending in batches). And they will be sent to the mailing address.

i thought they sent them to the permanent address? i hope its not my mailing address...that would be at school and im already out of school..

I got mine, rejected :(. (NJ) My stats are on the Columbia stat page. Good luck to the rest of you.

hitmanultra, what address did they send it to?

Geez...sorry to hear that hitmanultra -- I'm rooting for you on Harvard though!

if they send out mails today or tomorrow,
then does that mean people who live in the Westcoast
will get the results by... like... next Friday??

p44: They sent it to my NJ/home address that I put on my application.

byul: Thanks man, good luck to you too. The support of this board community has really made the transfer thing easier for me.

thanks hitman

Also rejected from Yale...my stats are in the Columbia thread. I'm disappointed; one of my recs was from a prof who used to teach there.

I'm in California, by the way.

rejected.

just told me over the phone.

good luck everyone, this looks like a tough one!!

I do not understand why people are disappointed. Yale's admit rate to begin with is harsh, and it is inevitable that most qualified applicants will be rejected.

One should not expect an acceptance when applying to Yale. One who is downcast by Yale's decision has himself to blame, not Yale.
