Decision Day is 3/28/2013 American E.S.T. And I did see other UK applicants on the Yale forum for class of 2017!

@peter1412, yep I’m applying from the UK!

i want to get into yale

@Philovitist, who doesn’t?!

i wanna get into yale real bad

So is there any way to tell if they received a letter that I e-mailed after being deferred? Nothing’s changed on my application status page.
Also, would it be too late to send another recommendation letter?
I’m just now re-realizing how badly I want to get in. Life has been so busy that college things seemed forever away, but it all came really fast! Less than a month now…

Catherine:

1) No.

2) Yes. You can try to fax something in, but the lady told me there was no guarantee they would review it (and this was two weeks ago).

'nuff said

My Adcom actually sent me an email confirming that he’d add it to my app. >.>

Cool guy, that Mark Dunn. I wish he liked me more…

@Philovitist I (and many others) know how you feel. I too want Yale badly and can’t imagine they’ll like me enough to pick me over 27k others :(

I find it interesting that Cornell released one of its school’s decisions so early. I wonder what other schools might release early decisions. Probably not Yale, they were pretty spot-on with the release of the online SCEA decisions.

Has Cornell released some of its decisions already? That strikes me as quite odd, given that the Ivies are meant to have a common notification date…?

Cornell released their decisions for ILR or Hotel or both!! I don’t remember exactly:p

@Juvenis Hmmmmmm, I don’t like how it comes out on admissions decisions week!

@pennforme1 what school are you at? Where else have you applied?

I know how you all feel. Yale has been my dream school since middle school when I first started thinking about college. I’ve spent all these four years working hard for this. Its crazy how much one persons decisions can affect us.

Can’t wait for Bulldog Days. Hope to see many of you there!

I’ll be there :D

@peter1412 I’m in Kent. Rather not say the school name on here. But I’ve applied to most of the Ivys, Stanford, Chicago, Tufts, USC, Northwestern, NYU, and BU.

What about you?

@Juvenis I really want to see that movie.

Honestly I’ve been on a weird combination of romcom/college movie kick. I really want to watch “Accepted” mostly because it’s hilarious, but then I realized that the red-haired girl was rejected from Yale.

I didn’t want to watch it as much after that…
