no - the new form is only for students whose FAFSA was pulled for verification
No. So thanks!
I have the household one though lmao
We can’t be sure of anything, but I wanted to share data points on this end in case the info is helpful to others, now or in the future. To me, the absence of a SID in the designated place when FA replied via email was telling.
How would you explain International students being asked for the verification statement?
We are not even allowed to fill out FAFSA
I am talking about the verification of identity statement, not the verification of household
Oh. Alright. My bad
to update: I called the admissions office and they emailed me a form to fill out and upload through their financial aid upload website.
Positive sign yes, or random verification yes?
My D had an updated date towards decisions for one of the document for JHU and she was accepted. She has similar one for Yale & Duke. Hoping for best. But what we read from other threads its a positive sign. Best Wishes!
got an idoc request dated 03/03 for some leftover documents and have the verification thing on my fa portal, got rejected from all the other schools requesting for my documents thru idoc so can i take this as a good sign?
The the email contain an “SID”?
We did not check the IDOC for a while, just happened to log in and saw Yale requested to submit the verification of statement! Since it’s already pass the earliest deadline but we still uploaded this document successfully to IDOC yesterday! Hopefully it’s not too late and this is a good sign that Yale requested this late (can’t exactly check when did Yale requested) ! Btw, my son got deferred from ED!
We also had an updated date for JHU and son was accepted. It does appear that some colleges that were there previously are no longer there. Odd.
whats an updated date? One thats more recent then when it was filed? or one thats within the past few days?
What exactly do you mean by “upated date”? Can u elaborate?
From my understanding that just when the portal was last updated/refreshed to reflect any changes.
no so not sure what to think
on the IDOC list?

It’s not IDOC. In the application portal->Financial Aid-> some universities display the updated/received date. Most of the doc will have date you submitted from IDOC. You will see recent date if they requested more doc from IDOC. If the candidate is rejected why would they
request towards the end of process?
My D had recent date for JHU and she was accepted. We see similar for Yale and Duke. She had an interview from Yale last week and was asked questions related to committing to college.
Just hoping good! Best of luck.
@NYCGirl04
Not IDOC. In the application portal-> financial aid. Please see my reply above
