in batches?

Whoa…now I am seriously freaking out!

Guys, I got in, too!! I can’t believe it!! I have a question about the Yale-NUS Weekend…can you go to the Weekend without enrolling in the university?I mean…can I go and see the Campus and later choose another university? Thanks in advance!

I think you can. Its experience week and the deadline for submitting enrollment form is may 1.

In.

still nothing!!!

Nothing has changed yet…

Or are they doing this country wise…those who are able to access the decisions, are you from the USA? What about you @HarryJiang ? I am from India…

i am from china, mainland

I’m from Russia, deffered Congrats to all accepted!

rejected…

Got rejected…I was expecting at least a waitlist since I got an interview…looks like they uploaded all the acceptances first and then the rest…aaaaahhhhh…this sucks!

Deferred :(

Deferred. Hehe, Oh well :P

Does anybody know how many people are actually deferred and then accepted?

@marti1295

This is definitely the question, I’ll e-mail and ask them. If this is the case then damn, they’re generous. I’m still waiting on so many other decision, but in the back of my mind, I know I have at least three schools above them, so it feels unethical taking their money.

@TrinidadJames22,
Yes, you’re completely right. It’s an awesome opportunity to visit the Campus and to feel the atmosphere. I would like to take advantage of the opportunity. However, I am not sure whether I will enroll there given the fact that the financial aid is an essential factor for me. So, I would like to go, but I’m not sure if I’ll enroll.

Rejected Can’t believe I wasn’t even waitlisted since I had an interview and was a tad bit hopeful since I was miraculously accepted to MIT last week…do you think it’s harder for international applicants (students not from Singapore?) I think over half of their students are from Singapore.

@amoeboid6

It’s strange, one of my friends was also accepted into MIT and Harvard yet rejected without an interview by NUS. Just really random. Did you want to go here? Because I mean, MIT is as awesome as it gets.

@amoeboid6 …I know that feeling…
Last year, at least according to cc posts, all those who got interviews were at least deferred. The rejection shocked me!
Congrats on MIT…you will obviously be going there, right?
I don’t have a single acceptance till now …waiting for the 27th
