<p>Now I’m wondering if they are mailing awards by category or by state. I sort of think they’re doing it by category because I heard of another Voice HM winner, but I can’t say for certain. If anyone hears about writing, please post!

<p>Merit Winner in Visual Arts. There was 11,000 applicants and only 700 were selected. That’s less than a percent! Good luck to the individuals who have yet to be notified. Congrats to the individuals who have been selected as YoungArts 2014 Winners! Still awaiting my Photography & Writing notifications.</p>

<p>I was so excited that I forgot to move my decimal point two places! My mail comes pretty early in the morning (around 10-11am), if that’s what you’re asking. I think everyone is receiving some type of notification this week. I know last year rejections and reward letters where sent throughout the same week together. I applied for more than one discipline: Visual Arts, Short Story, Poetry and Photography. I only received a notification in Visual Art, and oddly didn’t receiving all my notifications letters together, which is weird; since the recommendation letter is dated November 13th. So I think that means that all awards have been decided already. Has anyone received more than one packet for multiply disciplines awards in the mail…?</p>
