not sure but I really don't think most of them do- I don't think yale does for instance...or harvard or stanford(even tho it's not an ivy)- again, not sure-

So only one rejection?

Rejected (10 characters)

the 2 rejections so far have been community college transfers, they probably did those early on with the sure admits because it would be hard for upenn to take cc transfers since they are known for not accepting transfer credit, making it likely that very few cc units would transfer and therefore nearly impossible to graduate on time. i guess no decision for me this week :(

am i the only one whos signed into the site so many times that i've remembered my password?

hahahahahah!

I actually chose to just save the password. I'm not even sure what it is.

i'm with ya. where are our decisions?!

Not true. I'm also a ccc student, and i don't have a decision yet.

Nothing for me either, I was getting really anxious for nothing.

accepted! whohoo! (arts and sciences, not as great as wharton, but still exciting)

1410 SAT
4.0 college GPA (University of Georgia)
homeschooled during HS

good luck guys. i found out at 1:00 AM this morning. hopefully everyone will know by tomorrow.

do you mean that you checked in the evening and it wasnt there....

that's weird- I hope the admissions people are not doing an all-nighter- that'll be really sad- now I feel sry for them-

Feel sorry for them? haha good one.

Considering the amount of work most applicants put in to their apps, especially for schools like Penn, I think its ok to expect them to work their asses off. Perhaps not pulling an all-nighter but at least being faster or work to avoid confusion about what time/when/how theyre deciding stuff. ANGST ANGST haha

i was bored so i checked to see if i got in. i was planning on going to sleep but obviously getting into penn is more fun than dreaming about it

btw. i checked at about 5 PM, so there is a good 7 hour time block when it could have been posted.

the more acceptances i see, the more i start to worry- they can only accept so many

yea...even if they are to accept say...150. There are about 5-7 acceptances on this site alone? and the sample size of this site is very small compared to the ~2000 that applied. Sigh...granted this site may be self selective for the top applicants but still...-_-''

8 acceptances...last year people in the 2nd batch of decisions tended to have luck, and then only a few who hadnt heard by then (wednesday) got in, with most getting rejected.

o Gosh! u guys are getting me depressed!

they accepted 200/2000..that's like 10% guys.

i don't have my password with me, so i used the web site to get the password by e-mail.but i haven't received anything yet. what if my mailbox treats their e-mails as spam?i won't know the decisionby monday :(
