2007 PSAT Scores

Please help! I am confused about accessing PSAT scores. If you have registered with Quickstart, have not yet received your scores from your school and did not take the PSAT in 2006…is it possible to get your scores online?

You’ll need the access code – either from the paper itself or from your school counselor.

My daughter hasn’t received her scores yet and DID take the PSAT in 2006 and we STILL can’t see her scores because we don’t have an access code.

I entered my access code last year for my sophomore PSAT scores, do i need another access code to see my 2007 scores? I don’t see them on the quickstart page, and my school isnt sending them out until next week.

Getting mine tomorrow, nervous as hell :O

What would your writing score be if you got 6 wrong (no omits?)

quick question:
i noticed that easternwind missed two on writing and got a 73, but i also missed two writing questions and recieved a 72. note that on the my college quickstart website it says that i lost 0 points due to incorrect answers. Is there any reason then for the score descrepancy?

Probably easternwind took the test on Wednesday Oct 17, and you took the test on Saturday Oct 20. They are two different tests and have slightly different curves.

I’ve been reading the boards and I noticed all these great scores…

Too bad my school won’t hand them out until the second week of January! I hate my school’s system with the PSAT…X.x

Do you think my counselor will just let me see my score…?

My counselor just told me yesterday - 228.
Scores were:
Reading - 79 (1 wrong)
Math - 80
Writing 69 (3 wrong)

Wish that writing was 70+ but I’m satisfied for the most part. :)

Kscnoko:
The writing section had 39 questions, and 33 were answered correctly and 6 were wrong. They would give 33 points for the # correct, then subtract 1/4 point for the # wrong. Multiply 6 by (1/4) to get 1.5 points subtracted, but they round down so they would only subtract 1 point. 33-1 = 32 points is the raw score.
Then you match up the 32 to the 2007 PSAT scores conversion table Higher Education Professionals | College Board;
and the score would be 63.
GA

I got a 222
Reading-80 (0 wrong)
Math-69 (3 wrong, 1 omitted)
Writing-73 (2 wrong)

Pretty happy overall since I didn’t prepare at all but I wish I hadn’t made some dumb mistakes,

225
Reading-76 (2w)
Math-80 (0w)
Math-69 (3w…that curve sucked)

I’m pumped

232
Reading and Math full score
Writing 72, missed two questions.

I didn’t read through this thread, did anyone get 240?

216 in Oregon. Am I safe?

Sophomore–

Math- 65 (!!!)
Critical Reading- 70
Writing- 73

total- 208

Rainiff, Thanks. My S. got 223, which puts him in the top .5% nationally then. Don’t know about Illinois though. Do you know if this chart is the same, higher or lower than last year?

how do u know he’s 0.5%? o.O

You can calculate percentiles based on the statistical data the college board gives you. There’s a link somewhere…“understanding PSAT scores” or something like that.

Has anybody seen a table with how many got each score? I’ve only been able to find one that groups them and the highest group is 222-240. Doesn’t have to be for this year’s results.

This is based on the chart that someone did on this chart.
