admissions packets or letters if your rejected come in the mail if your a US citizen but if your an international student they will email you

I think I’m considered an international student even though I’ve been living in Southern Cali for seven years Either way I haven’t been notified yet. CONGRATULATIONS to those of you who got in!! (:

An admissions officer just told me that a decision was mailed; therefore, if accepted should I be able to activate the NYU NETID to login to NYUHome?

thats what I did but it may not have gone through yet to the IT people

AHHHH I can’t wait >____<
Funny thing, too, because I won’t be going there anyways. But things do change once you get in…

I realize this is redundant, however, if I can now set up my Ned ID, does this mean I was accepted? I just called NYU and they said my folder was complete and my decision was mailed on Monday.

Thanks!

On Monday? Would this mean I could be getting the decisions TODAY??

did anyone get decisions today im really on the edge right now

Maybe. depends how fast the mail is/ when they sent them out yesterday.

Has everyone been receiving their decisions to their school addresses or has NYU been sending them to their permanent or home addresses?

I put on my form to send everything to my school address through May 20th, but I have had other schools send stuff to my home address anyways.

The admissions tolled me my application is ready to be reviewed. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this sound as if they have not started looking at my app.

The poor mail lady, i’ve been stalking her for nothing!

I was just rejected to the Stern school of business. Best of luck to everyone still waiting.

i got in today!!! CAS ahhhhh im so excited!!!

I don’t know if this question has already been asked on this thread, but when is the deadline for transfers to hear back from NYU?

they claim that they want to finish them by the end of the month

i sure hope they do it earlier than that. i’m going to fordham if i’m rejected and i’m not sure when i have to put in my deposit

i’m still a bit bummed that my application has been complete since march and they haven’t even looked at it yet. i know the space gets more limited as time goes on, so it’s definitely a disadvantage

For those who can log in/activate into/your NYU home/NetID see if you can retrieve your financial aid pin

https://ofaas02.reg.nyu.edu/NetPartnerStudent/logon.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2FNetPartnerStudent%2FPgHome.aspx

If it says something like e-mail sent or e-mail unknown, it means that there’s a 99% you got accepted.

If it says that they have no record, wait a couple of days. I was able to log into NYU home/NetID since May 9 but was unable to log into my Financial Aid page until today.

Also check the housing form after you created your NetID (I’m not able to log into my housing page yet.)

and Yes, financial aid reviews your documents AFTER you have been accepted.

i’m pretty sure you can’t log into housing until you send in your deposit… I was accepted last week and still can’t

Didn’t know that. Thanks!

Have you been able to log into your financial aid page yet. I don’t have the “Awards” tab yet.

i actually didn’t even apply for financial aid so i haven’t checked

to all those accepted, what are you doing for housing? I don’t know if its standard for upperclassmen to be in NYU housing or, as is generally the case with my current university, independently find housing after freshman year.

i believe most are doing student housing at is hard to find housing in new york… I applied for student housing and I got the options of lafayette, greenwhich hotel, u court, and 26th
