2009 Fall Transfer To NYU

Acceptance arrived today. Regular first class mail to NJ

could you access your netid prior to receiving your acceptance package?

No–could not NYU–so don’t panic if you can’t

I could apparently, but alot of ppl couldnt

@ NYUforME

My NetID worked the Friday afternoon before last, and I received my acceptance package last Tuesday. It said on the letter that the decision was made that Friday, but I don’t think you can (or should) read anything into NOT being able to log in yet.

I’m unable to do the logIN thing you guys are doing on NYU NetID website. But I called today and admissions said I’ve been accepted but the letter was delayed due to the holiday.

Got an email today, accepted to CAS starting in Florence!

Congratulations to those of you who were accepted as transfers. Were you transferring as sophomores or juniors and what were your college gpa’s? Had any of you been waitlisted RD as a freshman?

Thanks lucky. Im an incoming sophomore and yes i was waitlisted RD as a freshman.

Incoming sophomore, was rejected as a freshman! :)

I was waitlisted from Stern. I applied as an incoming junior. Hopefully a lot of people say no so I can go lol.

To those who were accepted, would you mind stating yours college GPA’s? It would be really helpful for students who are hoping to transfer next year. Thanks in advance.

Incoming sophomore, never applied before. Accepted to CAS. HS GPA was like a 3.2, college was a 3.6

3.6 for first year in college

3.6 for me too

haha 3.6 cumulative after 3 semesters. must have been a lucky number this year.

Accepted to CAS after a terrible HS GPA (about a 3.4 until several Fs senior year) with an essay explaining the circumstances, followed by a 3.9 after 2 semesters in college.

UnderGrad: 3.4
Grad: 3.3
–> I’m going for a 2nd Masters @ NYU

I still haven’t heard, and someone in my area heard more than a week ago.
I’ll probably know when I go home in an hour or two, but I’m worried that I haven’t heard yet, although I won’t be going.

By the way, I have 3.89 GPA, although after this semester I will be back in the 3.9s for sure.

are there any female transfers still confused about roommates and housing?
