<p>The year alone makes a lot of difference. Without study, my junior year score was 29 points higher than my sophomore score.</p>

<p>i got the same score as you in california. i think we may just have a chance at semifinalist because I know several schools in my district adopted subsidizing the PSAT for all students, whose low scores may weigh down the curve. If its happening in the Bay Area, I would think its happening across the state too. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!</p>

<p>PSAT: 224, SAT: 2310. I didn’t study much for either one (I just read the booklet for the PSAT and took the online practice test for the SAT). I think my age made a difference, because I took the PSAT in the fall of junior year, and the SAT the following summer.</p>
