After waiting all this time for the results and not winning. I was quite baffled.I found out that my school never submitted my transcript by clicking on the paperwork status(PS) button. I have searched everwhere trying to find a deadline date of 04/15/2011 for the HR scholarship in Texas.I have not found it yet.But it definitely loads up the application page when I log on . I don’t know what this means . I thought it was a fluke.

State winners are out!
Click the 2011 list to the upper left corner and go to your state/region.
Congratulations to all the winners!

Sweet! $5000 State Scholarship!

Congrats Presidont! Sorry to those who could not apply…

Mine says April 15th 2011 as well

^ You should call them at (703) 684-9444. Which states are you guys from?

I’m pretty sure that the national scholarship applies to all states… I have no idea what is going on. There are national scholars from Georgia, Montana, Louisiana, and Idaho. But not Wyoming.

yeah im in Georgia

I’m from Texas and the deadline was 10/30/2010 for HR Scholarship. I have no idea what the 04/15/2011 dealine is about.

State scholar CA! I was and still am in shock!! My first scholarship win :)

^ Congrats nchedo11 (and to all other winners and future winners)!

I think I have it figured out now.

Maybe you have to reapply for the state scholarship by that time. Those states seem to have their own programs (which may or may not be worth more than the usual 5k, too).

They don’t even have state sections for Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, or Montana. So I guess they’re still accepting applications for the state scholarships, but not national.

Call them ((703) 684-9444) on weekdays from 9-5:30 pm.

Why is Florida not on the list?

I believe when a person applies to the national scholarship they are also applying to the state scholarship, because I am from MT and have only applied to the national. Please correct me if I am wrong, I’m hoping for the state scholarship.

I guess we’ll all find out tomorrow then.

To the national scholars, what do you think about the mentoring program? I log in and this is one of the things that I haven’t done yet. I mean to what extent can mentors help? What exactly do they even do? It can’t hurt, right?

I won a Franklin Scholarship from Pennsylvania. I’m so excited this is 10k and a trip to Valley Forge. Is anyone else of CC a Franklin Scholar?

Ok, I called HA and they said that if you have already applied to the national scholarship, you don’t need to reapply by 4/15 in those states. But if you haven’t applied to national, you can still apply for the state scholarship.

Congrats to both national and state winners!

$5000 Washington State Scholarship, got the email & letter in the mail a few days ago! :] Congrats everyone.

All of the winners were picked?
Wow… I’m sadly surprised… I wasn’t notified about anything
I thought my stats and everything were more than qualified… but I guess I didn’t have a chance… Oh well

Congrats to everyone who got picked!

What do you mean, “more than qualified”?

Ohio Scholars are not posted yet!

There’s suppose to be 16 winners from Ohio
