ahhh!!! i have a bad feeling though…

I’m so excited!!! :D

I just want to know and at least know that I have gotten into one of my “dream” schools and no matter if I get into other schools I can go to MIT.

HOLY **** IT’s TOMORROW NIGHT

AHHHHH

only about 22 hours to go. Less than a day and we will finally know

i’m hoping for the best, expecting the worst.

I am an absolute wreck right now. I didn’t think it would be this bad so soon. I can’t tell if I’m more stressed or excited, but I somehow have a good feeling about this.

I should be studying for exams yet I am distracted by the enormity of tomorrow…

^^

“should” (as a student) be studying

should (as a human being) be freaking

Bleh, I’m so betting on a deferral or rejection but I can’t quash that faint glimmer of hope for acceptance :)

Same; there is no possibility of early admission for me, but I’m hoping not to be rejected.

I just want to sleep until 9PM tomorrow. Unfortunately this is not possible due to a multitude of tests and projects.

so I’m a student here now…but wishing all of you the best of luck tomorrow!

If MIT wants to draw students from places like Alaska, Hawaii, and Mississippi, does that mean they would accept a decent student early action just so that they would attract people from all over the country?

@akuta
Can you tell us a bit about MIT. I know the academics are stupendous, but I am having fears about all of that work stressing me out.

@ fontaine

“there is no possibility of early admission for me”
Don’t think like that! I know getting accepted EA is ridonkulously difficult but remember there is that 10% acceptance rate and you could be one of those lucky people.
A friend of mine got deferred from JHU ED and he told me he should give up now because a deferral is the same as a rejection but I really don’t think it is. I’m trying to help him organize a baseball coaching reach out program. There are many children at the homeless shelter that could benefit from playing on a real baseball field at my school. I’m hoping these projects will both help him in the admissions process and get his mind of college apps hahaha.
I guess the point to my story is that although I’m hoping for an acceptance, I’m expecting a deferral but even if I get deferred I won’t give up on MIT because I know a deferral is just a second chance to show MIT what I’m capable of.
Gluck everyone!! Approximately 21 hours left…eek!!

lol I’ve been telling my friends the same thing, but I know when I see the deferral tomorrow, I’m going to be the irrational one

@ aznjunior
I agree with you. I will probably be the irrational one as well. Hopefully that irrational side of me will subside after a few hours and I’ll get back to studying for finals, working on other apps and figuring out other ways I can show MIT my strengths lol :)

Hoping for a snow day here :3

If anyone want’s a countdown timer for the decisions, here is one:
