2014 MIT Early Action Countdown Thread

lol that timer is off by 3 hours.

what the heck??

19 hours 20 minutes

Time for bed.

I can’t sleep… the anticipation is killing me.

18 hours, 14 minutes!

OMG.

17 hours, 40 minutes…

Okay, I’m going to bed.

16 hours!!

Less than 15 hours!

less than 14 hours!

14! I only have one two-hour final today, so as soon as I get home, I’m going to try and sleep until 9. My stomach’s already starting to twist so much out of pure stress and I just know I’m going to start feeling sick later!

12 hours…

11 & 1/2 hours! Ahhhh I can barely focus on my finals!

I have not gotten any work done. I need to buckle down! I only have 3 short essays (1 page single spaced) and a essay test and I’m free!

10.5 hours!

36,000 seconds!

9 hours 49 minutes

How about we refrain from posting how much time is left; we have countdown clocks for that if you so choose to even use them. Let us talk about something else in the meantime while we wait. Suggestions?

cicero is spot on. 9 PM will be here soon enough :)

BTW, The EC who interviewed my son said he didn’t get in Early Action or…Regular action. He was put on a waiting list and took a spot that came open when someone who had been accepted elected to attend some other college. He was still Ecstatic

The admissions office wouldn’t tell me early :[
