<p>grouptheory… your life is definitely not over if you end up at johns hopkins… It’s an excellent school, and its biomedical engineering program is ranked first in the nation (over MIT). chillax, man Life continues on. There’s always grad school.</p>
<p>I’m at peace simply because I know I have UChicago. That is the only reason why I’m not freaking out all over everyone. I am sorry to those who don’t have that feeling. I don’t mean to brag about it or anything like that. I’m just expressing why I’m not freaking like I should be.</p>
<p>I understand what you’re saying, Katie. I have Michigan Tech (not my first choice, but not too bad of a school), and I’m confident in my chances at RPI, UMich, and Carnegie Mellon. It’s all good; I’d be happy to end up at any of these schools.</p>

<p>I love Johns Hopkins, but I just don’t want to stay in Baltimore for the rest of my life and the top 10 ranked at my school typically all go to Hopkins.
Oh well, I’m prepared to be rejected. I’m about just as qualified as the 3 other applicants at my school, but one is a double legacy and 2 others are URM. I lose; deferred from UChicago doesn’t help either.</p>
