Hi everyone! I’m a senior in high school and was offered TTP a couple weeks ago. I am most likely attending LMU for a year and then transferring. I noticed most of you were calling TTP “legacy for cc students.” So I am confused, I believe that TTP is for any student attending abroad, a four year university, or a cc.
Are any of you applying to transfer from a four year? Or is everyone here applying from cc.

@polololo TTP is offered to students that are either legacy/have some sort of ties to the Trojan family or students that were well qualified but USC just didn’t have any space for them. It is not offered to everyone though.

I’ll definitely post in here whether I get in or not. I’m not going to post my actual cumulative GPA till I get a decision. If I DO get accepted, I’ll probably be referenced on here for a long, long time. Thankfully I had a ton of great experiences both prior to military and after that helped to fill out my essays. I’m over 30, and the suspense is killing me too!

@jobsoutofcollege you and me bro, so far ive only seen 2 people on this thread applying to price other than me. Keep in mind there aren’t as many price applicants, especially as transfers ( im assuming at least from previous threads), so its not super surprising that there isn’t much data on price. As a result, im pretty sure price is a lot less competitive than most of the other colleges at USC ( I might be wrong, don’t quote me on this), but its still gonna be hard, so it is what it is.

@dwightsbeetfarm i applied for public relations, and i’m also not ttp! i’ll also be a junior this fall. i’ve seen like nothing about annenberg, but i did see one stat a while ago that said that the annenberg acceptance rate is super low…i’m hoping that ECs and demonstrated interest in pr/journalism will count? love your username btw
@laneline @dwightsbeetfarm I did com and PR! I lowkey did it because I did not have time to finish my sca portfolio and all my internships could side with PR too. From last year people in Ann- didn’t hear back till early to mid may. RIPPP
@laneline I applied to comm! I got admitted to my second choice major because Annenberg is still doing review. I asked when we’d hear back and they basically said just be patient. I also heard the acceptance rate last year was really low so I’m freaking out. I’m also TTP btw.
Also @ all my fellow Annenberg peeps: I got an email on Monday about the new Annen-blog. The email was from Annenberg Ambassadors and the subject line was: “Welcome to the Annenberg Family: Check Out the New Annen-blog!” Nothing in my portal’s changed though, so I don’t know if that is indication of anything, but I don’t wanna get my hopes up. Did anyone else get this email?
