thoughts on this score?.. english: -1 math: -4/-5 c/r: -1/-3 science: -3

I took the test in Ohio and I found the science portion very unusual. No one that I have talked to has had the same form as me and I have yet to find a post that describes the science portion I took. Did anyone have the science test that had the questions about squirrels leaving their mothers, capacitors, and sedimentary rock? The closest forum I found to this version of the test was for the 2003 science ACT which sounds identical to the test I took yesterday. Did anyone have this test and what did you think about the difficulty?!?!?!

Guys, for the question in the science portion regarding light intensity and groups of flowers, which group had a greater light intensity than group 2? Was it 3, 5, or 6? Group 2 had the highest data, and I wasn’t sure which one to put, so I put 6 because it’s data was closest to 2’s.

what did people say for the ford passage question? straight-foward and self critical?

I said matter-of-fact and confident or something

what do you guys think -3 in reading will be?

Jman i think that would be 35-36.

So, the scores come out November 12th?

For the question that asked how much more percent off the VIP members got than the regular members (25% vs. 15%), why is it not 110?

Pardon my grammar

Hi! Is ACT essay easier than SAT essay?

Will the early score exploit be available, or do you think ACT prevented that?

For the discount one, set the price of the shirt to anything, say 10 dollars. 25 percent of that is 2.5 and 15 percent is 1.5. Then take the ratio 2.5/1.5 which is 166 percent. Itll be the same for any price you set it to.

Alot of people are saying the reading was the hardest, i thought it was the easiest! Science was hell for me. Math wasn’t very good either

Hey,

Do you guys remember the math question on form 73A that was about bluegrass and another grain’s seeds? I think I guessed answer choice B? It was a single letter, T I think. What did you guys get? I would love to be enlightened.

Cheers!

I had to frantically fill in an answer for this one and I put T as well! Hopefully that is right.

I got “T only” as well I believe.

What did you all think of the science section of form 73B? Much harder than normal?

It was t only

Awesome, it looks like I had a few well educated guesses. The math section is always a crap shoot for me though, haha. I think I do well and then I don’t. Though in the end, when we are all hopefully off to college, the test will be rendered pretty much obsolete.
Kind of funny how we put so much emphasis on a test that in the long run really doesn’t matter.

diceman…

I had 73B. Where did you take it? Anyway, I thought the science was hard. I didn’t like the new format and it really threw me for a loop.

Also, there were 2-3 English questions I thought were hard, and I usually breeze through those. Did you get “all of whom” as an answer in English? And there was one about dirt…maybe it had a dash as the correct answer choice? And in math, there were 3-5 I was unsure of…
