<p>Black, did you check your howdy portal? You can check and see which school you got into there. Thats how my friend found out before he was moved to step five.</p>
<p>i’m on step 5 and officially admitted… but my howdy portal doesn’t show anything such so far… may be it takes another 24 hrs to update…</p>

<p>Just talked to admissions. They said it is a glitch, that a decision has been made about spring grades and that the system just goes back to step 3 automatically or something like that…it probably means I didnt get in since most people seem to go to step 5.</p>

<p>Yep, I applied for mechanical engineering. At this point I really don’t care whether A&M accepts me or denies me. I am attending UT in the fall for mechanical engineering. Their process is a whole lot less confusing.</p>
<p>Yeah I kinda wish I woulda applied to UT at this point too. Weird as hell you havent gotten moved to step 4 yet. Toast what dept were you that you got moved up to step 4 at the sametime as me?</p>

<p>So I got my rejection letter, although it sort of isn’t a rejection letter. It asks for me to submit my Spring grades by 6/19 for reconsideration. I’ll probably send a transcript after all; I’m a little curious to see if I would get in.</p>
<p>The deadline to accept admission is 7/1 isn’t it? It seems like they’re cutting it a bit close.</p>

<p>Wow I am surprised that you got that letter this late. I got it May 11th and they said to send the grades in my June 1st. Been on step 3 ever since. Wow if they are seriously going to wait until June 16th when they have EVERYONES spring grades, that pretty crappy on their part. Don’t they think that maybe A&M isn’t the applicant’s only school they applied to?</p>

<p>I got my letter today. Admission denied. I was crushed at first but I feel relieved. The letter says something like, “we can not approve your app at this time…” I contacted Mays and was told this year was extremely competitive and I should consider graduate school. So Im working on my gmat even now! Good luck everyone.</p>
