@OhBoyChoboy, We will superscore your SAT Critical Reading or Evidence Based Reading and Writing subscore and your math subscore. We will use the highest of the SAT superscore or the ACT composite score in reviewing your application.

My son is trying to submit his application to Pitt and we keep getting an error message that the page has moved or that there is a problem with the page but I dont see anyone else complaining of any issues. We have been trying since yesterday… Do you know of any problems?
I would suggest trying to log in from a different browser and submit the app there. If it continues to give you trouble, please submit a request for assistance on the “Help” link in the top right corner of the application.

We have tried using other browsers. It accepted his SRAR report and when we hit the continue button it brings up the error. We have contacted the help desk but haven’t received any advice yet.
Do you have any other suggestions?
I talked to a colleague who works on the application and they said that they are aware of the error and are working on a resolution. It should be fixed shortly. In the meantime, using that help link on the application and submitting a request form is the most efficient way to get tech help on the application.

Thank you very much for checking on it!! We were going crazy thinking it was something on our end but we couldn’t figure it out! We did fill out the help ticket yesterday and another today.
@Moms123 does yours say, “the page or resource has been moved.
Something on the page is not working properly.”
Yes it does… Are you having the same issue?
@Moms123 yes and I submitted one of the help messages as well
Thank you for submitting help requests, it is very helpful to the tech support for our application to know what issues you all are having.
To anyone else out there with this issue - we are working to fix it ASAP. As many details as possible that you can share in the report are helpful.
Thank you for your patience, everyone!

When applying for admission I thought Pitt only considered your highest ACT English/Math subscores. Is that incorrect?
Submitted my application!
@hailtopitt1787 Hi, I see the scholarship SAT score minimums have been updated. It says a 1490 but only math and critical reading. How does that work? Do I multiply my CR subscore(which is out of 40) by 20 and add it to my math score? The grammar/writing section is still not considered right?
Or is that still the old SAT requirement? I thought it used to say 1450 but now it says 1490.

Just to be clear, this nursing guarantee program is just for graduate school, correct?
@dancermom79, We take your highest subscore for each section. You can see our admission process page for more information: https://oafa.pitt.edu/apply/admissions-process/freshmen/
@classof2017, If you have scores from the old SAT, you can convert them here: https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/scores/understanding-scores/sat-score-converter
@jenn214, It is for the graduate school of nursing, that is correct.

@hailtopitt1787 so since I submitted yesterday, Do I wait for another email with login credentials and thats where I can see my app status
@hailtopitt1787 I have a new SAT score, but I was confused that it said math+CR since now the EBRW score is CR+writing. Does that mean I disregard the writing subscores and just make my math and CR subscores(which are out of 40) into scores out of 800? My CR subscores is 37/40 so do I just add 740 to my math score?
@hailtopitt1787 When will you start to release admission decisions? And will all the applications that are submitted before you guys start reviewing them be read in order of submission or random?
@almostdonewithhs, Yes - an email should be coming your way. It may take a few days, but it should be in your inbox soon!
@classof2017, I will need to check on that. I am also new to the new SAT - please let me verify when back in the office on Monday. Thanks!
@studentns321, Admissions decisions typically start going out in the late summer/early fall. I am not 100% sure about the exact order that the Admissions Committee goes in.
