Am I accepted or not?

Does anyone know if where on the online account portal the decision will be posted? Or is it usually just stated on the main page after you log-in?

I’m guessing the main page… I don’t think they’d make you search for your decision, haha :)

@conflidtedb3 Feels just like when I checked my ACT scores. Gahh…the anticipation is killing me!

I don’t even remember whose question this answers, but…

My son applied via fee waiver, received the first email and the lousy second one, but no we did not ever apply for financial aid or fill out any financial aid info.

Amendment…

Applied via fee waiver, received the first email, the lousy second one, didn’t apply for financial aid and just received notice of deferral.

Glad to see the official letter of Acceptance!

They’re up!

I also applied via fee waiver, received the first admissions email, the rejecting second one, didn’t apply for financial aid and just saw notice of deferral.

Deferred. Ugh, that’s worse than rejected.

Where do you see the decision? I don’t see anything on my portal

deferred…more waiting…good thing fordham isn’t my top…

Deferred. got the first email then the “bad” follow up. I only applied because they kept sending me emails practically begging me to and gave me a fee waiver. Waste of time

Received an email in early November stating that daughter would be receiving an acceptance in December. However, the portal only shows an “Accepted Student” tab. I don’t see any letter or notification.

Deferred… =(

Are scholarships included in the online portal notification?

She was deferred. Oh well. Good luck to the rest of you!

I recieved both emails with the second one being bad and just got deferred. At least it was my least favorite school :)

My son was deferred as well.

When do we find out about scholarship info?

This being our second time to apply to Fordham gives me a little idea. EA usually means you have to be well within the acceptance range. So it gives them room to adjust to cutoff depending on who applies for RD.

“Admission through our Early Action program is limited to only the most outstanding candidates within a very talented pool of applicants. The Committee on Admission was most impressed with your accomplishments, both academic and personal. It is our hope you will accept our offer of admission for the Fall 2014 semester.”

Our son#1 was initially deferred and then later denied and I realize that it’s because of a marginal SAT. Son#2 has an SAT well above the median and I’ve always noted that Fordham is a stickler for the SAT.

But no need to fret because things turn out for a reason. Son#1 (now a Sophomore) was accepted to a higher ranked school and is very happy with his choice. And I am as well. The difference is that his current school put less emphasis on SAT on more on his grades.

Everything turns out for a reason and with the benefit of hindsight, I don’t worry much anymore.

I should note that Son#2 (the one accepted to Fordham) was Rejected by the Son#1’s school. Why? I have no idea.
