RALPH LAUREN

and

J Crew

Lacoste owns all

It's tough for me too look at a dude in A&F with a straight face, because their store is decked out with naked man posters. Besides that, most people know how to get their swagger right with their clothes.

oh, ladies, keep doing the skirt + boots, i think its quite hawt. :D

I see them all the time, especially hoodies.
I do shop those places time to time because its pretty cheap... mostly AE and occasionally AF. AE had amazing sales and had cheap tops so... whatever. LOL.
I wear whatever that I like~

I mix AE/AF styles so it won't look like typical AE/AF style. I was wearin AE tops/shorts and somehow I ended up looking.. punk or something according to my professor o_O lol.

I like vintage clothes too... but stuff I spend money on is mostly jeans as I started collecting designer jeans and bags. :) Shoes and tops, I just wear stuff I like the design of whatever the brand.

Lacoste, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Northface rule all at UNC. Southern Tide is also getting bigger here.

I think AE, Hollister, AF are cheap. The quality is atrocious.

I don't have one article of "name brand" clothing in my closet and am extremely proud of the fact.

It really depends which college, but yeah many students do wear them. You won't see as many wearing them at U Bridgeport as you will at Wake Forest. Funny when a kid from rural Nebraska wears "CALI SURF CLUB" tees when he's never seen the ocean once, let alone been to California. But I just have a good laugh and move on.

LOL, what? Did you mean that you'll see more people wearing them at Bridgeport? Because nobody at Wake wears Hollister or American Eagle (maybe a little Abercrombie, but not much, and definitely not the obnoxious brand Ts or anything). It's all about the super expensive designer/boutique clothing or Polo, Lacoste, J. Crew, Vineyard Vines, etc.

boooooooooooooooooo, thrift stores are cheaper.

Reading all this critizism of American Eagle, Hollister etc... on this website I still would buy and wear these names brand in college.

J Crew, is nice but I've always seen them as trying to attract those in their late 20's or more so 30's. Lactose seem to attract all age groups.

...no one here likes banana republic?

Like J Crew I see banna republic trying to attract those well into their 30's.

^Yeah, I like their stuff but I only hit it up at outlets. They're overpriced for their quality, imo.

Ben Sherman has some nice stuff too.

i love banana republic--everything's so classy (i can only afford to shop at the outlet though haha)

Christian Audigier, Affliction etc ftw.

^LMAO

10char

I have a few shirts from those stores that I wear occasionally. They aren't logoed so it's hard to tell sometimes.

I know people in their 30's that wear A&F and Hollister so it's not like it's only a high school thing.

i actually find that a little creepy...but yeah i know a bunch of banana republics in NYC with excellent deals...overpriced everywhere else though..

Banana Republic is aight, get buttondowns from them on occasion.

also I agree with dude talking bout Christian Audigier and Affliction. Although not really into $40-150 for a tee, they make nice stuff.

Urban Outfitters/American Apparel/H&M/Zara anyone?
