slipstream99, do you mean the university of alabama at Birmingham? 'cause i've also been accepted but i haven't heard of anyone else talking about this school on this board. and how did you find out about your scholarship already? i'm waiting trying to figure out what my financial situation is with them.

hey slipstream99. I applied to UA also (Tuscaloosa) and got my acceptance letter also. However, they didn't notify me of any scholarships yet. (well, actaully I got 5000 for ec's and random stuff) but in their letter they said that the scholarship comittee will not start reviewing scholarships until early Jan. Of course, you could have applied to a different UA school (Huntsville, Birmingham, etc)

ive been accepted to uiuc (university of illinois at urbana champaign) from out of state. yay!

UA Tuscaloosa also accepted me a few days ago. No scholarship yet, but perhaps they meant the guarenteed NMSF one they offer.

they don't offer full rides to NMSF though.

University of South Carolina-Columbia: I LOVE this school. It's so pretty and I would be happy going there.

University of Wisconsin-Madison: I applied here on a whim. I don't think that I can handle the cold weather and pale people. I might visit, though.

accepted at Muhlenberg College for ED

4.2 gpa

don't know of any merit scholarships yet

So far I've only been accepted to Tulane University, of which I applied early action.

But the one I am really wishing and hoping for is for Williams College(ED). Ay, yi! I'm so nervous for the darn letter (whether it be sorry or congrats)...

Good luck to everyone with all their apps!

So far...

Otterbein w/ 5000 per year
Wichita State

sorry for the confusion
i did bama at tuscaloosa and i put the full ride for nm finalist (assuming i'll be one). but, they did send me a letter saying that i was already guaranteed like 12,600something dollars per year (not for national merit)

Yeah, that's the 1400+ SAT merit scholarship thing they have, gets you full out of state tuition. The national merit one just adds room and 1k a year to that.

Someone at my school was accepted ED to Elon.

I'm still waiting for my ED response.

Hoo_29 : When did you apply to USouth Carolina? I applied about two weeks ago but haven't heard anything... I wasn't expecting anything til like January.

Accepted University of Arizona Honors College, full-ride, plus Presidential.

anovice-it took them a while. It will take at least a month or more.

Leonesa, when did you apply and when did you receive your acceptance?

slipstream, yeah, they will do that stuff. You are still yet to receive the big scholarships!!
