UA is crap. Why would anyone apply there in the first place?

So far...
Purdue (Krannert)
UIUC (LAS)

Hey, now, don't go around dissing UA:) Anyways, I applied there and got accepted (it's in-state for me). I did apply elsewhere, but for some it's the only choice. Oh, also their out-of-state tuition is so much lower than that of other colleges. I forget the exact number, but it's one of the lowest in the nation.

Marrisal,

Umm, I received my acceptance letter to Tulane about 2-3 weeks ago. I applied about 3 weeks before that. They sent me an easy app, which required no essays or teacher recommendation, no fee, and a response within 4 weeks.

Purdue (College of Liberal Arts)
Auburn (Arts and Sciences)
University of Michigan (College of Arts and Sciences)

My first acceptance Cal Poly Pomona
UCIrvine(if I applied) I got a letter saying they'd guarantee mee a spot if i applied
UCSD(most likely 99 percent chance)

Penn State- Engineering
Rutgers- Engineering
31 ACTs
3.9 Weighted GPA

Hoo_29, apply for the McNair scholarship and the honors college and you'll have a wonderful 4-year package. That is, if you really want to go there. Great town, great school (honors college), wonderful president.

I know a bunch of people that have gotten into Appalachian, ECU, and USC already. Elon ED too.

I got accepted to Purdue Engineering.

love duke how did you get accepted to USC, if USC doesn't have early action or early decision. We are talking about University of SOuthern California, right?

Whoops. My bad. University of South Carolina- Columbia. This is just a friend of mine...I'm still waiting, dying of anxiety.

accepted, William & Mary out-of-state
1380, 3.65 UW 4.3 W

"Hoo_29, apply for the McNair scholarship and the honors college and you'll have a wonderful 4-year package."

I would love too, but the minimum SAT for the honors program is a 1300, so I'm 80 pts. below that. I got a 28 ACT, though, so maybe that will help me out.

I just got accepted to Drexel today. I was really surprised on account of I didn't even apply ED.

william and mary. instate. 1370 sat, sat IIs in the 600 range, 4.17 gpa, 15/422. THANK GOD!!!

my friend got in Purdue University at West Lafeyette or however you spell it...he had like a 3.5 GPA but only a 960 SAT score. I think he had legacy though.

for those accepted to University of Michigan, especially LSA honors college, do you know when scholarship decisions are made or based on what criterion?

I also got accepted to the U. of Arizona but only with a 2,000 Arizona Excellence Scholarship

What were your stats?
My dad lives in Tucson but I live in Maryland so I am still considered out-of-state and I was wondering if my scores and grades just were not high enough or it was because I was not a resident of Arizona.

This would be VERY helpful
Thanks!!! Jess

im gonna bump this up because a lot of people are getting their results this week. good luck to all of you! please post if you got in or not, and stats!
