I’m completely giddy right now after finding some great gifts on Amazon.com - my favorite go to for anything and everything!
I just ordered a UA trivia book which looks like fun. I’ll wrap with the UA wrapping paper I found there along with the Bama dog collar for our four legged family member. They have the same items for other schools (those poor kids) so I got the appropriate trivia books all around for D’s friends going elsewhere.
I bought D’s requested new Ipod from Amazon the other day, so it will be wrapped in Bama crimson, as well.
Free shipping over $25 and no sales tax - I loves my Amazon!

What are the other CC kids getting and from where?

I’ve also had good luck getting Bama stuff online at JCPenneys and Belk.

I gave my kids several Bama T’s, Bama hoodies, Bama mugs, and Bama ballcaps. As a joke, they each got Bama Snuggies for Christmas…but they LOVE them…LOL My younger son ( he’s a clown! ) swears that he’s bringing his Bama Snuggi to a football game. He’s crazy enough to do it, too.

As for hoodies, my kids tend to prefer the ones that zip up instead of pullover. They will wear the pullover types, but they like the zip ones because if they get a big warm, they can just pull down the zipper.

Oh, and I got a houndstooth wool scarf and Bama earrings. Shop for mom while you’re at it!

Oooh, I saw the houndstooth scarf on Amazon and I want it! I also saw the snuggie and almost got it. Do the guys really wear them? Maybe I’ll give a Christmas Bama snuggie, too. oh heck, I’ll go ahead and get the scarf and snuggie so I can get the free shipping. I’m getting a little caught up in the excitement of graduation. . .

Malanai, love the ties - especially the “nostalgia” tie. I’m thinking it might be perfect for my dh. Now, if I could only find an Alabama Hawaiian shirt. . .

It had Alabama Hawaiian shirts in medium and large

Anyone wants my entire list, message me. All I’ll say is that we funded some kid’s Bama education this year. (I type this as I put my Bama vest and tie in the closet for the night).

^^^Look closely at this particular shirt before buying. The only reason I say so is because I think it lists all the national champion football teams at Bama except #13. There are a bunch of these models to be found on the Internet.

If not having #13 doesn’t matter, then it’s a moot point. I purchased a very nice Reyn Spooner Bama aloha shirt on e-Bay, but it seems to have been the last one. I was hoping to direct folks to it. I’ll keep hunting around and see if I can find it elsewhere for those interested.

BTW, Reyn Spooner is the Cadillac of Hawaiian shirts (or aloha shirts, as they’re called here in the islands).

For Girls:
Last year I gave D a pair of script A earrings…pretty sure she liked them she wore them to many events!

Also FYI : Victoria’s Secret has its Collegiate Line which is a bit different than stuff you find at the bookstores. It has a “comfort color” wash and was perfect for dorm lounging!

Also a lot of girls wear these Nike Shorts (I’ll find out the style)… You can purchase these with Bama logo & colors at bookstores & team shops!

I saw the Nike shorts on the JCPenny site and they are now on my shopping list. Penny’s had a huge selection. Looks like I could really do some damage there.

Thanks for the education on the aloha shirts, Malanai. Only the best for DH!

I bought two UA shirts at footballfanatics (dot com) for my husband and myself. They’re the Columbia fishing shirts with the SPF built in (Omni-guard I think they call it.) Maroon with a script letter “A” on the chest, woman’s also has Alabama in script on the end of the sleeve. Beautiful!

Thanks Momreads - just did some damage at the link you provided - some nice Bama things on clearance, cheap enough that if they don’t suit DS then one of us will take them. Nice $20 full zip sweatshirts and the hawaiian shirt also…:)

The Nike shorts are on the way as well as a cute Nike shirt and a banner. I just purchased key chains & water bottles from the site Momreads shared.

The popular shorts are called Nike Tempos. Lots of stores carry them with Bama colors & logos. They also come in a wide assortment of other colors.

I did pause and ask myself, “Do I REALLY need the Alabama garden gnome,” and no, probably no more than I need the Bama salsa, cutting boards, or grill cover. I do, however, need the houndstooth scarf.

See, we do need the Bama Garden Gnome, as the gnome in the hammock statue that the girls bought H a few years ago has bit the dust. Sounds like a suitable Father’s Day gift :)

My son got his AP English teacher an Alabama bag – made sure it was big enough to carry all those essays she grades. English teachers say that you can never have too many bags. So, keeping that in mind, that same AP English teacher got even a larger one from me for Christmas (we teach in the same school). Oh, and my son made sure several other teachers got those “green” bags you use for groceries.

The AP U.S. History teacher asked him for a houndstooth tie for Christmas, with the promise he would wear it (and he never wears a tie). He got one, and yes, he wore it, too. The academic team coach got a beautiful Alabama pen last June, while the director of guidance, who loves to golf, got a new cap and set of Alabama golf balls. He was quite touched, and my son did not know that he collects golf balls, too.

As for shirts, nearly every kid whom my son calls his friend has an Alabama shirt. With all that has been purchased, we have funded a kid’s education for a year.

We bought some before graduation last year. My son was the class valedictorian, so he decided that he needed to hand his AP English teacher (who finds graduation to be very emotional – she had my son in her class for four straight years) those tissues.

But not before the ceremony (she started to cry when he walked in her room dressed in cap and gown). After his friends introduced him as the valedictorian, he got up, walked over to her and handed her the tissues in front of everyone. Then, he did his speech.

I love all of the ideas! The Bama themed portion of D’s grad gift is what I am calling a “game day ensemble”. It includes a tiered sundress where the tiers alternate between a black and white pinstrip and a small houndstooth, crimson shoes, crimson earrings and a pom pon. I’m also planning to add a koozie or a Tervis tumbler.
