Oh and theres only one market in Washington, the Seattle market. I don’t believe there is a puget sound market.

oh okay when i looked on the site it was called the puget sound market but it might be seattle idk haha dont they only accept 5 from each market?

hello everyone!!! i’m soooo happy!!! i was chosen for the orange county market!!! WOOOOOOO!!! i can’t even believe this!!! i am truly blessed!!!

@phuongabong; i would say so!!! i don’t think they’d CALL to share bad news. i received a missed call @ 5:08 pm today, and the voicemail left was: “Hi Jello, this is Lisa at Bank of America. You can give me a call back by insert number here. I’d appreciate it. Thanks a lot! Bye.”

first i was afraid that it dealt with some sort of debt. then i had that light bulb moment and got all excited, thinking i got in the program. then i freaked out because she told me to call her back, as she could’ve just congratulated me via voicemail. seriously, i had major fear, anxiety, and excitement because i had no idea what the call was about. i thought it was the interview, but i was so afraid of sounding trite and stupid! rather than wasting more time panicking, i just called back and then… she told me i was selected as one of the representatives… i think i hyperventilated… i couldn’t utter words out correctly and i was breathing super quickly… and i may have cried LOL. but yeah i told her how i was scared about what the phone call was about, and she told me she wanted to congratulate me personally (and that, she loves being the bearer of good news) hehehe!! I LOVE HER!! AHHHH those 3 minutes really brightened up my day/week/month/year!!! I AM SO EXCITED!!!

congrats!!! :)

Lucky!! Congrats!

Twilight where did you read that? And yes only 5 :(

i found it on this site

[Bank of America | Corporate Philanthropy | Foundation | 44 Markets](<a href=“Bank of America resources: grants, sponsorships & ESG reports”>Bank of America resources: grants, sponsorships & ESG reports)

theres a facebook page that also has posts of people that have made it in but no one has posted stuff about the seattle area :(

woops i guess the site didnt show up sorry

anything from east bay/oakland yet??

Weird, when I applied, I applied for the Seattle market, but now it’s gone! Gosh I want to do this program sooooo bad.

me too!! everytime someday calls now i get so excited hoping its the bank of america haha

haha. interesting, didn’t get an email or call xD guess I wasn’t selected? (yet my friend said he got a call and is from Cali also).

The Seattle market probably has a ton of competition since it’s the only market in Washington state so it might be a while until we hear from them :/

Yeah, but you have to live pretty close to Seattle to apply, right? Because the internships are in the Seattle area.

That’s true. I read from another thread that apparently we’ll be notified by a letter no later than April 15th and that three applicants will be chosen. So much excitement until then!

Only three?!?!?

hahahahha @Jello! OMG that’s what happened to me! I missed her call too. Gahhhh I was so nervous when she first started. We had somewhat of a long convo (like 2 mins. lol) that eventually led to " they want you" hahhahahahahhaha. OMGGGG I was too happy. Shrieking and what not. Well, hope to see you in DC=D.

I guess so! Maybe the market is smaller than I thought after all.

@twilight I’m from the Inland Empire market; and you?

Where did you read that oddity?
