Yes Dive that is exctally my school " hey man i got mega ripped last night", well thats unfortunate? " can i get a copy", eeerrr yeaaah i guess.
SO TRUE

and about the racial thing i was at a boarding school and in PE class like 5 times a kid yelled out when we were picking teams ASIANS vs. Whites. ( the kid was asian) and the teacher just kinda looked at him like ( what is this kid talking about).

does anyone know if there is racial tension like that at any other boarding schools? or private?

wow your schools sound so… mmm, surprising to me (sorry, I’m intl).
Public schools in US seem to be not so good. But think about it - I guess 90% people go to public schools right? How will they be when they grow up? I know there are people who thrive from public schools, but they must be like top 5-10% of their class. And the (huge) rest… state universities… jobs suck, no health insurance… have kids… kids go to public high school… 20 years later we’ll still see on CC “I hate my public school”
Sad sad

i dont pity kids who party and drink. I like to have fun with my friends and ive been to parties where ppl do that stuff. I just dont touch it because its gonna mess up my game and most likely health. Just stay away from it, and you dont have to ignore great friends just bc they mite do taht stuff

2010 you should apply to a less competitive school if you are not sure about getting into a HADES school, there are alot of great less competitve schools and ive seen your stats and your a great student who deserves a good school.

never had food thrown at me, but grade 12s have been known to throw water balloons… hmm.

@ lemmings: but at “less competitive schools”, financial aid can be harder to get, which no longer makes them a viable option for many nobody ever said life was fair, right?

did i mention that my school has no cafeteria? we have a “foyer” (it’s just a wide hall with plastic lawn chairs…) but if you’re not a senior, you’re ousted and bound to sit on the floor. fun fun fun!

@ boardingschool: i go to a public high school in canada, haha. some public schools (yes, even ones around here) are great, but usually they’re in really affluent areas and basically impossible to transfer into. of course, there are schools in the US like stuy or TJHSS that are INCREDIBLE, but alas i am not lucky enough to live near one.

I’m completely serious, but it only lasted for a week. I think it’s stopped now because the police finally stepped in last week. I really really pity those kids who were covered in pee.

The bottle of pee thing is extremely horrible but the way you worded it was kind of funny. At least the students at your school are creative. haha

hahaha I’m not a big Us public school fan being an int’l by birth who attends one. I just thought I’d point that out. May I ask where you come from? You don’t have to tell, I’m just curious.

bottles of pee? how would that work? i mean, unless they’re glass they wouldn’t break (and thus spill). if they WERE glass, don’t you think that’d be seriously illegal? ouchh

@boardingschool: there’s a huuuuge variety of public schools in the US, it seems like it’s mostly based on where you live. for example, if you came from an affluent area like new canaan, your public school would most likely be kickass. if you came from east side los angeles, it would be a totally different story… ANYWAYS despite what you might hear on this thread (haha via yours truly), not every public school is terrible and not every public school student gets pee thrown at them. :)
