Hi @justinn76…just curious, where did you hear that it will be two weeks? They have tweeted that 1. the decisions will be emailed between the 18-23 of March, and then 2. today that all files have been read. Sounds like the emails with decisions are going out within days not weeks…

@justinn76 I saw that too, but I think it’s because BC just wants to give rough estimates instead of an exact date. I don’t think they’ll deviate from the range they already set (18th to 23rd). Personally, I’m guessing that decisions will come on next Saturday the 21st at the latest. They’re just e-mails, after all. Plus, the adcoms are done reading apps.
Personally I think it will be sooner rather than later. I really don’t think they would post a pic of empty shelves unless decisions were imminent. I could be wrong, but @DevlinHall208 is well aware that students are anxious and I don’t think they would tease us with that picture if we were still weeks away.

Just Wondering, what do your tabs on your agora portal say? Was there a F tab?
@NewportHSSenior I don’t think that the Portal tabs mean anything this year. BC Admissions posted on this website saying that they’re e-mailing decisions for the first time ever specifically to eliminate any confusion/speculation over Agora Portal tabs. I wouldn’t pay any attention to the Portal in that respect.
I hope decisions come sooner rather than later. These last few weeks will kill me!
@NewportHSSenior- An F tab is the financial aid tab. Click on it to see if you were given any financial aid. Good luck!! In the past, when the letters were mailed out, students checked their Agora portal for an F and a P tab. The P tab was to pay your deposit, so the students obviously had been admitted!!!
Wait, do some RD people have an F tab right now? We don’t. 
I don’t think the portals will change until they email the decisions. I think that is in part why they have decided to email decisions because some people’s portals changed to include the tabs before they got their letters while some people got their letters first so it was confusing. They can’t really control snail mail but they can control email. I think the change to email was a good idea. Good luck everyone!!! BC is a fantastic place!
FYI, just in case if people in this thread had the same issue as mine: If you didn’t get the eagle ID message/portal login id and password, don’t worry. I just called the office and they told me that it means everything’s been processed via Commonapps. If you still feel like you need confirmation just call them. They were very quick in pulling my info out and checking back with me.

I’m just wondering one thing. I submitted my app and everything on time but on Agora it says everything wS submitted on 1/2 (which is the day after deadline) even though I submitted on 1/1. Do you think that’s just when they filed that I submitted or something? And more importantly that’s not going to effect me getting in or not will it?
@arfieldsy yeah you should be perfectly fine. admissions offices are lenient with the due date and having an app even a few days late wont’t affect your chances of getting in or not
boston college says they do a holistic evaluation right? my school’s average students accepted have an sat of a 2250 :’(. it seems like those with higher stats got in than those with lower. most of the higher sat range got in while those with the average/lower didnt :// ugh now im really scared now because basically only those with a high sat and act from my school got in and im way under the stats people from my school have to get in T_T
