Here is the little anecdote, as I am just confused if this guy is interested. Last night we kissed, although we were a little bit tipsy, but he is a really nice guy. We are both at summer school at Michigan State right now so we know each other. I saw him today and he kind of joked about who kissed who so it was not uncomfortable at all. I wanted to go see a movie with him tonight but he said he was busy but he wants to do it sometime and he asked me out dinner tomorrow night. Why do guys have to be so confusing!? It would be much more clear if he just TOLD ME WHAT HE WANTED, but maybe it would be easier if we were not tipsy. Boys cause me too much stress hehe

ummm...he asked you out to dinner...isn't that a clear sign?? lol trust me, if guys told us what they wanted, most girls would be disgusted haha jk :)

I don't think it's confusing at all. If he invited you to dinner tomorrow, it shows that he is interested.
Would you prefer if he just said that he wanted to have sex with you? XD

Maybe he is just trying to be polite?, he is just an all around nice guy... Because I did ask him to spend time together first and he could not. And I don't know if it is technically dinner, because he wanted to cook together! Now I'm stressing, I just worry that we were just tipsy!

he said no to something for TONIGHT, and made plans for tomorrow...
that just means he already has things to do tonight. a lot of guys might try to push it to next week. cooking together tomorrow is hardly being confusing!

Why don't you just ask him what he wants without being all needy about it?

contrary to what you may believe, people have lives outside of you. This isn't confusing at all.

Um obviously he's busy tonight and rescheduled for tomorrow. It's pretty clear. Just be happy that he even made plans with you.

This is a joke, right? ...Right?

Because otherwise you're absolutely retarded.

lol ^^

op: There's a big difference b/w a 'nice guy' and an 'interested guy'. If he was just nice to you, he would have said something like 'Let's hang out with all of our friends' or 'I like you as a friend'. Instead, he wants to spend QUALITY time with you AND ONLY YOU...and COOK with you!

He's interested. Don't stress.

I actually sometimes do stuff with girls who I am not interested in, i.e. cooking for them or baking stuff together (i LOVE cooking) and I never want to be mean so I always say yes or make plans later.

You do realize that you asked him whether he wanted to see a movie with you on the same day you asked him? Maybe, just maybe, he actually had plans for tonight?

It is a simple matter of translation...

Woman speak - "I have something to do tonight, maybe later"
English - You don't have a chance in hell

Man Speak - "I have something to do tonight, maybe later"
English - I have something to do tonight, maybe later

This goes along with the answer to the question: "What's wrong"

Woman speak - "Nothing"
English - I hate you and hope you die, everything is wrong

Man speak - "Nothing"
English - Nothing

hhaha k314.

seriously don't try to read into what guys say. they usually say what they mean, unless they're trying to sleep with you.

dinner requires more effort than a movie. im guessing hes interested

cooking together is even more romantic than a movie or actual dinner. He's interested.

^ or maybe he doens't have any money to take her to a nicer place, so he resorted to cooking.

depends on what he cooks. i personally find the steak dinner too heavy and not fun to make with a girl.

styles of cooking to melt girls panties: generally french or other genre of food that has some sophistication in flavor and is classy to eat or make.

my first time cooking for a girl, I made the mistake of making some fancy chinese food. epic fail. 2nd time around made the girl some french food and her panty melted.

^ Mexican food would do it for me!
