I don't think I'm going to call, but are we sure that they're actually giving out phone decisions?!

Yep, I called this morning. Waitlisted.

rejected..

did u guys speak to an administrative person or an admissions officer?

Admissions officer. I was put on hold for about 15 seconds while the administrative person went to get her.

..how surprising. not.

rejected, well life goes on.

Yet another rejection.

umm im not a big call in guy... has anybody received the letter?

accepted and really excited. 3.8 from northwestern, 1490/1600. 2260/2400. econ major here, coe major at brown. was accepted for spring admission, which is a hassle. to people that didn't get in, if it makes you feel better, i was rejected from "my first choice" this morning

BK22889, i'm not calling and don't know what my decision is, but i checked off the box on the app saying that spring admission was okay. can you provide any details about it? are you expected to just stop going to college for a semester and enroll at Brown in January '09? or do you have to keep on going to NU??

i don't know, i asked if there was any way that i could just show up in the fall, and she said probably not, unless their transfer yield is low. my guess is that either option is ok, especially if you would still be on pace to graduate on time. i don't know what i'm going to do if i end up choosing brown.

Accepted. My mother couldn't wait and telephoned lol
But I'm not going..

alpha, are you going to yale?

if it makes anyone feel better, my login thing still says admissions decisions are unavailable

dumb question but..... is everyone that is rejected put on the waitlist?

Haha well I guess it really did mean absolutely nothing. I really want to call, but I don't want to risk the bad news.

BK22889, do you think you'll choose Brown? Or are you waiting on other schools?
