@vanshmurad The only thing that changed was that Application Summary, Decision: admission decisions are currently not available. And it still says that actually. As far as I can remember nothing else is different. But I was able to access my fin aid stuff yesterday, when they said it wouldn’t be till saturday. Eep.

@SaphireNY The people at Brown seem to be so much more genuine. Also, I’m interested in premed, and the curve at Penn is meant to weed premeds out by limiting the amount of A’s. Lower GPA= less chance at med school. Also, Penn has a tendency to be more completive (from what I’ve heard) and I’m looking for a more collaborative environment like Brown!!

@235423 I think you made the right choice for you. My dad said the same thing. Plus I think the long add drop period will really help you select the best courses for you.
@vanshmurad not sure why you would be offended. Just my opinon. I am not going to either one, however if I had the choice I would have chosen Penn although my dad would have pushed me to Brown for all of the excellent reasons @235423 gave. However it is not a problem I have
@SaphireNY, your phrasing made it sound like you assumed/thought Penn was the objectively better choice than Brown and that it was odd that someone would choose one over the other. Your followup makes it clear what you really meant (which is totally fine).

Hey guys. I was waitlisted at Brown as well. I just got a letter in the mail today which said I was released from the waiting list. So I am off to Georgetown next fall! Best of luck on the waitlist everyone!

Me! I’m still waiting. I emailed my regional counselor and she responded monday (when it seems some people were released), and told me she had no information regarding my decision and that she would let me know by the end of the month, hopefully sooner.
