It took them a good 3 and a half weeks for them to get back to me.

@sball12

I received financial aid for my class, Globalization & Society in the 21st Century. The amount I recieved was full scholarship for the two week course excluding the $300 down deposit.

While I'm posting, is anyone else going from anywhere in Florida? I'm from South Florida.

Global, I am. Session 1A. From SoFla.

Wow, it only took 5 days for me to get it back.

wow, thats so weird, mine took so long. vab what session are you going

Ah, I'm session 2A. =/

ughh nobody else is in my session.

Yeah I feel the same way, I'm sure you'll find someone soon because I'm fairly certain you're not the only person enrolled lol.

On an interesting side note, and this goes for anyone regardless of location. If you'd like some more background understanding on the course you're going for, you could always attend a class at a local university if you have some spare time.

The professors really don't care, I've attended my friend's Sociology Of Peace & Justice course @ FAU (Florida Atlantic University) numerous times and they're happy to have people listen and participate. Sure you're not getting grade or w/e but the discussions are really fascinating if you're willing to put the time in.

I did a 3-wk. program last summer, so I can answer any questions you guys still have!

I took "Techniques in DNA-based Biotechnology" which I highly recommend - it's super fun, plus once you're paying all that $ you might as well get to do something you couldn't do at home (in this case, work in a genetics lab). And my experience there helped me get an internship at a lab at a nearby university!

Oh, and did I mention that it was FUN??!

I'm going 3A, Intro to Medicine

kjgfklgjfd my course is 'waitlist available' and I haven't heard back yet : [

Yayyy, got an email saying I'm in! But it didn't say what course. Grrr.

is this the only brown thread on here? or am i not seeing something.

I think this is the... definitive one.

Kk so I'm in 'Nervous System Function in Health and Disease,' session 2B, and waitlisted for 'The Secrets of Learning and Memory' session 2C. :]]] I'm excited!

I'm looking into the music production class, it seems great and a lot of my questions have been answered from above.
Was wondering if anyone has taken that class before or if they know someone who did and what they thought about it.
I was contemplating the intro to medicine course, but its so waitlisted and backed up.
My teacher sent my rec in a few days to early, I haven't finished my stuff!
Thanks!

has anyone done/or is doing a finance class? I'm thinking about financial markets and investments.

Did any of you guys going receive the Dean's scholarship? Or did you get the money by other scholarships. I will not be able to go unless I can some scholarships.

tnb19, im doing "Intro to FInancial Markets" minicourse

Hey guys, I'm new here.. but I came across this thread and just wanted to say that I'm going to be there this summer too!
