Haha, yeah, but I'd still be mad. xD

lawl. if someone stole my bathroom products i'd just laugh.

Thanks for the link. I see that the rooms are small, but I'll still survive. I can't wait to live in a brownstone.

Yeah, you have a solid shot at one by junior year if you decide to stay on campus. The rooms aren't anything spectacular in them, but Bay State Road can't be beat.

You are very active in this forum Devilsrule. Is there a particular reason? lol.

Well, at this time of year, I have final projects to work on. Midterms are study time and I'm never on the computer. But the final month involves alot of internet research and projects. I'm on the computer all day long while I do this. So I figured I would at least do something helpful and proactive while on the computer, instead of wasting time playing pacman or watching sports highlights that I've already seen. I volunteer for admissions at BU and I sort of take it upon myself to help out as many prospective students as I can. So I essentially have the tab with this site open all day as I work. Gives me a good distraction from work. So yeah, I'll be on for the next 2 weeks or so very often.

I thought you were addicted to the forum like the rest of us. It's like crack. =/ Only cheaper and legal.

Lol, sure you could say that. When I was applying to schools, I was addicted to the forums like crack.

I have a question for you. I've seen people with an EFC almost like mine, which is 12k. Yet they were offered not even half the grant money I was. I got 32k in grant money. Is there a reason for this? I got offered 8k in loans on top of that too.

I really couldn't tell you. I'm not too keen on the financial issues and I am very hesitant to guess because I don't want anybody to take my guesses as actual answers. Sorry.

Would you say it has to do with the dip in my parents income? We'll be going from 76k to 54k this year. =/ I figured that was it, but I don't know. Your guess is as good as mine. xD I really don't know.

similar situation, income dipped to 55k this year, BU gave me 33 in grants and 6500 in loans

What about the tuition exchange program? Does anyone know about it?

Is Warren a hard place to study in? I'm going to be a Freshman and don't know where I want to live. =/ I want to be close to classes, but I hate too much noise and am kind of anti-social.

Then don't live in Warren. If you don't list any of the big dorms, you may end up somewhere else entirely. For example, freshmen are scattered in 481 Beacon - which must be an old apartment building - in Kenmore. Very quiet. You never know.

Where do most sophomores stay? West Campus? The Towers? I know upperclassmen can stay in one of the finest dorms available (ie 10 buick st, bay state rd)

I'll be a sophomore and am staying in the towers. I know there will be a pretty decent amount of sophomores there cause that was pretty much the best pickings when we got around to it. but yeah I'm not that thrilled about it.

You can stay in your room, stay in your dorm (and thus get a better pick in there) or choose to move. Your best choice depends on a lot, but much rides on your housing number. The options abound: you do swaps, can get pulled into another room or apartment, etc.

Do you know which dorms are relatively close to where freshman have their classes?

It depends on your school---CGS, COM, CAS...
