Would it be too early to start looking for roommates? Specifically, for those interested in living on campus.
Continuing students have already completed their housing applications so I thought some of us could get together! I can start a separate thread if that would be best.
Definitely, my kinda roommate cuz you’ll take the smallest room, pay the most in rent, put down the entire Deposit for everyone, and still be happy. Hahaaaa

I’m honestly so happy and relieved, this is my THIRD time applying for transfer. Non-traditional student, dropped out of UCR in 2011, and this is my second attempt at my Bachelors! I got rejected to SLO last year and saw that their target transfer rate is around ~1%. I applied but didn’t expect to get in. Had already accepted the admission to CPP but I saw an email from Cal Poly saying I was accepted in my spam mail haha. Withdrew my application from CPP and went ahead and accepted the decision for SLO
Worried about having to take out loans since I am low income, but they gave me a good chunk of financial aid and there’s options for sub and unsub loan as well. Really excited to be going to SLO and feel super blessed they upped the target transfer numbers for this year!
@Hip2DaGame That may be it . I got accepted as an aerospace engineering major a weekish ago with only a 3.71 GPA; however, I was able to complete every prerequisite, including additional courses, within two years. I am on track to completing my BS in 4 years, so maybe they do want people who will come in and out. In addition, I have a lot of hours from work experience/volunteering/extracurriculars.
